The Philadelphia 76ers tried to build a super team last year after acquiring both Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris. They built one of the best starting lineups as that duo teamed up with Ben Simmons, JJ Reddick, and Joel Embiid. That starting lineup should look very dangerous as is but in the playoffs, their team began seeing their weaknesses exposed. Their bench was thin and lacked any type of explosive players. In the first round, they were able to defeat the young Brooklyn Nets though they weren’t able to overcome the more experienced and star heavy Toronto Raptors. This year, Philadelphia brings back a similar team though with two major changes. Jimmy Butler is now gone as he’s off to find his own team in Miami and Al Horford was brought in after opting out of his contract with Boston. The two are entirely different players and will bring a different dimension to their game. However, the biggest question mark will be whether they’ll be able to bring in help for their bench and provide some support for their starting unit.
